What is "New Old Stock?"
You will see us refer to settings and other jewelry parts as new old stock. What that means is that the component was manufactured in the years mentioned, but was never purchased by a designer to be made into finished jewelry. When wholesale costume jewelry manufacturing went overseas to Asia, these warehouses shut down or sold off their unwanted inventory to liquidators, and they sat, unused, for decades. When e-commerce sites like Ebay and Etsy came along, these precious parts could be sold to vintage lovers like us to create new jewelry. Many of the items come to us in the original packaging, with 70-year-old price tags! Every order is like Christmas wrapped in a time capsule!
